Pershing Elementary School
Pershing Elementary School, originally constructed in 1955, had the need for additional classrooms, restrooms, and renovated spaces for new educational uses. The design included four new classrooms for fifth grade students. Each classroom was provided with ample windows and expansive storage to meet the instructor's needs. Restroom facilities and a new secure entrance was provided in the design as well. Several existing classrooms were renovated to accomodate new educational uses such as a new music room and bathroom facilities located in the kindergarten classrooms. The driving factor behind the design was to emulate the existing while improving the capability of the students education.
